Wood Bedding - NEPCO

Northeastern Products laboratory beddings are heat-treated to reduce bacteria and enhance absorbency. The bedding is aspirated to remove dust and creates a comfortable, natural habitat for lab animals. Laboratory analyses are performed regularly to ensure the bedding meets or exceeds industry contaminant specifications for contact bedding. Laboratory Grade Pine Shavings
Processed from virgin white pine softwood. Can be used with all small, medium and large animals. Package size is 9.0 cubic feet loose, compressed to 3.0 cubic feet.

Alpha Chip
Alpha Chip is made from virgin white pine softwood chips. The free-flowing chips make it work well with most bedding dispensers.

Beta Chip
Beta Chip is made from virgin hardwood chips (maple, beech, birch or poplar). It is compatible with small animals, including transgenic breeds. Works in most bedding dispensers. Also available certified and irradiated.

Lab Aspen & Shredded Aspen Shavings
Made from virgin aspen hardwood. Package size is 9.0 cubic feet loose, compressed to 3.0 cubic feet. Shredded variety is particularly suited for nesting and animal enrichment. Aspen Shavings also available irradiated in small press packs.

Aspen Chip
Made from virgin, debarked, aspen hardwood. Package size is 2.5 cubic feet. Compatible with most bedding dispensers. Low density hardwood produces lightweight, easy to handle packages.
